About Us
Humbly Committed is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit partnering with East Texas families, schools, and community organizations to deliver practical financial education and youth entrepreneurship experiences for ages 10–24.
We collaborate with nonprofits, colleges, charter schools, and local banks to provide hands‑on, interactive financial literacy workshops that build real‑world money skills.
We would also love to bring our engaging financial education sessions to your next Vacation Bible School.
Programs
Money Camp
Money Camp is a 4‑week program covering career choices, the importance of saving, check writing, making correct change, Budgeting, and Credit Utilization. Participants earn weekly rewards and enjoy daily refreshments.
What differs from our program, vs others, you ask?
Our Money Camps ensure each participant leaves having learned 1 key life skill that boosts self-confidence in money management.
*Daily lunch served*
In the final week, youth and their families attend a ceremony where participants receive a Certificate of Completion, as well as funds to open a savings account- modeling real-world financial success.
To conclude, all youth are invited to join our annual Fit for Biz Entrepreneur Fair at Longview Mall during Tax‑Free Weekend.
