Humbly Committed Annual Community Excellence Gala
Join us for an unforgettable evening as Humbly Committed celebrates the dedicated medical professionals and first responders who make a difference in our communities every day. The Annual Community Excellence Gala is a night of recognition, inspiration, entertainment, and community impact, bringing together leaders, supporters, and changemakers from across East Texas.
This year’s gala will be held on December 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM to Midnight at The Venue on Alpine in Longview, Texas. Guests will enjoy an elegant evening honoring individuals whose service, compassion, and commitment have strengthened our community. Proceeds from the event support Humbly Committed’s community programs, educational initiatives, scholarships, and outreach efforts designed to empower and uplift families throughout the region.

Money Camp is a 4‑week program covering career choices, the importance of saving, check writing, making correct change, Budgeting, and Credit Utilization. Participants earn weekly rewards and enjoy daily refreshments.
What differs from our program, vs others, you ask?
Our Money Camps ensure each participant leaves having learned 1 key life skill that boosts self-confidence in money management.

In the final week, youth and their families attend a ceremony where participants receive a Certificate of Completion, as well as funds to open a savings account- modeling real-world financial success.
To conclude, all youth are invited to join our annual Fit for Biz Entrepreneur Fair at Longview Mall during Tax‑Free Weekend.

Children’s Business Fair 2026
August 8th, 10 am – 1 pm
Give your child the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship, creativity, and leadership at the Children’s Business Fair 2026! This free community event is designed for youth ages 10–18 who are interested in learning how to start, market, and operate their own business ideas in a fun and supportive environment.
Hosted by Humbly Committed in partnership with Empowerment CDC, the fair provides young entrepreneurs with the chance to showcase their products and services, connect with community leaders, develop business skills, and gain hands-on experience in customer service, budgeting, marketing, and sales. Whether participants have an established business idea or are just beginning their entrepreneurial journey, this event offers valuable learning opportunities and real-world experience.
Families, community members, and local supporters are encouraged to attend and support the next generation of business leaders. Admission and participation are free, but registration is required.
